WHAT YOU CAN DO
How to Help
One resident. One question. A case that has reached the courthouse on its own.
This is not a funded organization. There is no legal team, no campaign staff, and no institutional backing. The GoFundMe donations and pledges of support received so far have made a real difference — and if this record matters to you, here is how you can continue to help.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Keep the Record Moving
The community response has been genuinely encouraging. GoFundMe donations and pledges have arrived from neighbors, voters, and people across Ventura County who believe the public record should be complete and the law should be followed.
Every filing, every hearing, every document request, and every record analysis takes time and resources. Contributions help support court costs, record acquisition, technical review, transcript expenses, document hosting, and the continued operation of this public-record website.
Whether someone ultimately agrees with this challenge or not, transparent government depends on complete records, documented authority, and public accountability. If that principle matters to you, thank you for helping keep this effort moving forward.
Donations support court filing fees, transcript costs, record-related expenses, document acquisition, banner replacement costs, and the ongoing costs of maintaining this public-record site.
SEEKING ATTORNEY REVIEW
California Land Use, Initiative Law, Administrative Mandamus
If you know an attorney who works in California land use, SOAR initiative law, General Plan consistency, or administrative mandamus — or if an attorney comes across this site and sees something worth looking at — I would welcome that conversation.
WHERE THE CASE STANDS NOW
- Motion for Leave to File Amended Petition pending (filed September 21, 2026)
- Administrative record review underway
- County PRA response due October 23, 2026
- Next court date: November 12, 2026 — CMC and OSC re: consolidation
I am not in a position to make a formal ask. But if the record speaks to someone with the background to help, I would be grateful.
THE RECORD IS STILL BEING EXAMINED
We Are Still Finding Answers
The administrative record review is ongoing. Documents continue to be requested, received, and analyzed against the same standard: does the record identify the adopted authority that authorized the transition from Agriculture/Open Space to the ECU-Agricultural / Existing Community framework relied on for this approval?
The record shows the beginning and the end. The materials reviewed to date do not identify the adopted act in the middle. The writ asks the Court to determine whether that act exists in the record.
